Live Remote Photovoltaic Solar Monitor for a School District in Northern California
The World Wide Web has tied together a multitude of devices that have the ability to send data to a web browser, a server, or any other connected device you can imagine. This application takes advantage of the Xml Api of one such device, collecting data from a Solar Photovoltaic Unit located on the roof of a school district building in Northern California. The application refreshes its data every ten seconds via AJAX callbacks.
